I’ve been wanting to try stitching the Trout Lily since I first met them a couple of years ago. Somehow this is my first attempt! I love the mottled leaves and the wild flinging arms of the petals on this plant. It is also one of the first flowers to emerge in the spring, so us here in the north cling to it like life!
