Flowering milkweed is everywhere up here in Northern Michigan in the summer! Its sages and dusty purples line the roads and fill the fields. I’ve been trying to stitch this plant for about a year now, and it still feels just out of my grasp. Something about those pompoms is tricky! I do feel like this is a much closer attempt than I’ve gotten to before, but I think I’ll be chasing after this plant for a long time. :)
