Clouds over Lake Michigan create some of the most dramatic scenes I’ve ever laid my eyes upon. In this painting, I am attempting to see this spectacle through the Queen Anne flowers. Is there a storm approaching? Is a cold night coming? Are they bracing themselves, or thankful for the respite from the sun?
