Hi! I’m Dana Falconberry, Conservation Artist and the creator of Falconberry Prints. I’m a printmaker, musician, and chainstitcher living in Michigan and Texas.

I learned how to do linocut printmaking from a friend of mine in her tiny Austin apartment when I needed a way to make multiple album covers at once. I fell in love with the process and started printing as a hobby, selling prints at my music shows and using images for album art. After touring for years, I finally came to terms with the fallout of the music industry and started working full time as a lead stitcher/designer for Fort Lonesome, a chainstitching company based in Austin. Eventually my path led me back to printmaking, and back to Michigan, and I am now a self-employed artist pulling from all of my creative disciplines.

Whatever the medium, my goal as an artist is to foster a connection between humans and land/water/air, thereby inspiring conservation and protection of our natural spaces. I’m interested in examining the supernatural elements of these spaces, and much of my art explores what happens there when humans aren’t present.

Thanks so much for visiting my site, I really hope you enjoy the prints. :)
